Online community for Ukrainian IT professionals worldwide — live, technical, and human in equal measure.

Origin

In 2017, Zaporizhzhia had a thriving IT meetup — Zengineers.Community. Weekly Thursday gatherings, two speakers, live conversation. It opened the door to IT — through networking, talks, and a sense of belonging.

After COVID and the full-scale invasion of 2022, the community ceased to exist. People scattered across the world. Connections broke.

This project is the answer to that void.

Mission

Bring Ukrainian IT professionals together — regardless of country — around a shared space where:

• You can learn something new about technology (without excessive academia)
• You can talk about real IT life — career, relocation, burnout
• You can find people on the same wavelength
• You can be a speaker or a listener — both roles are equal
• You can share not only successes but also failures and hard times

What this is NOT

• ❌ Not a course or bootcamp
• ❌ Not a recruitment channel
• ❌ Not a conference with a programme committee
• ❌ Not an attempt to revive Zengineers or compete with other communities
